Tata Motors, an Indian automaker, has declared that it will implement a price hike on its commercial vehicles of up to 5%. Beginning on April 1, 2023, there will be a price increase. According to the official announcement, the business has chosen to raise the pricing of its commercial cars in order to meet BS6 Phase II emission regulations.

It said, “Customers and fleet owners can expect a choice of cleaner, greener, and technologically superior offerings that bring higher benefits and lower total cost of ownership as Tata Motors transitions its entire vehicle portfolio to meet these requirements.”

According to Tata Motors, the price increase will be applied to all of its commercial vehicle models, with the amount varied according to the model and version. All auto makers are aiming to release RDE and E20 compliant models in response to the second phase of BS6 regulations, which would raise the price of the vehicles.
